According to St. John, disciples are to love "not in word or speech but in deed and truth." The sign of the disciple is two-fold: to believe in the name of Jesus, and "to love one another just as He commanded us."

The consistent and continuing commitment of our faithful volunteers and donors to love others "in deed and truth" allows St. Francis Seraph Soup Kitchen to meet our mission to provide immediate food needs to the hungry in Over-the-Rhine.
